Atlantic Institute Volunteers Partner with Jacksonville Daughters of Abraham & @onejaxjax for Interfaith Food Distribution to Seniors
On Thursday, July 17, 2025, volunteers from the Atlantic Institute joined forces with the Jacksonville Daughters of Abraham and other community members for a powerful interfaith initiative hosted by @onejaxjax. This collaborative effort aimed to support the United Community Outreach Ministry (UCOM) in distributing food to seniors residing at Mt. Carmel Gardens.
From unloading pallets to setting up tables, distributing food, and packing up, every task was carried out with a sense of unity, teamwork, and compassion. Volunteers of different faiths and backgrounds came together to serve their community, making a positive impact on the lives of local seniors.
These acts of kindness not only provide immediate support to those in need but also serve to build lasting bridges between different faith communities. By working together, we strengthen our shared commitment to service, solidarity, and community building.
A special thank you to @onejaxjax and UCOM for providing the opportunity to come together and serve. We look forward to continuing our efforts to foster connection and understanding in Jacksonville!
