Craft and Construction: Exploring Creativity Through Interfaith Scriptural Reasoning

On January 14th, the Istanbul Center proudly hosted a meaningful Scriptural Reasoning event, moderated by the esteemed Rev. Dr. Jonathan Swanson from Hodges Boulevard Church. This interfaith gathering brought together participants from diverse backgrounds to explore the theme “Craft and Construction” through sacred texts from the Quran, the New Testament, and the Hebrew Bible.

During the event, attendees engaged in thoughtful and respectful discussions, delving into the rich narratives and teachings of their respective scriptures. The conversations shed light on shared values, such as the importance of creativity, dedication, and the human capacity for craftsmanship, while also appreciating the unique cultural and spiritual insights offered by each faith tradition.

This enriching dialogue served as a platform for fostering greater understanding, mutual respect, and meaningful connections across faith communities. Events like this underscore the Istanbul Center’s commitment to promoting harmony and collaboration in an increasingly diverse and interconnected world.
